7 new electric vehicles that will shape the future

The IAA Mobility Show 2025, one of Germany's most prestigious motor shows, has undergone a major transformation in recent years. Relocated from Frankfurt to Munich in 2021, the event has since evolved rapidly and has become the center of attention not only for classic cars, but also for future technologies such as robotics and artificial intelligence.

IAA Mobility goes beyond the traditional automotive show and focuses more on mobility and technology. This year, the show floor was transformed from a mere showcase for the latest vehicle models into a platform for ideas about the future of the automotive world.

In addition to Western manufacturers, a record number of Chinese car brands also made a presence at the Messe in Munich. One of the most prominent of these brands was Xpeng's huge stand. Among the Volkswagen Group's huge booths, Xpeng's new electric vehicles and forward-looking visions attracted a lot of attention. Xpeng is targeting a large market, especially outside of China, and in line with this goal, Xpeng expects the upcoming demonstrations in Dubai to increase interest in the company's flying car project.

One of the most striking aspects of the fair was the electric car models and concept models, which are seen as the future of the automotive world. Electric vehicles, autonomous driving and robotics were the main themes of the fair.

1. Xpeng P7+

Chinese Xpeng continues to rapidly gain a foothold in the electric vehicle market. The European launch of the P7+ model was held in Munich. With its 92.2 kWh battery pack, 800V architecture and 585 horsepower, the P7+ also stands out with its fast charging feature. Xpeng states that it completes the charging time from 10% to 80% in just 12 minutes. In addition, the vehicle's artificial intelligence-supported dynamics improve the driving experience. Xpeng aims to make an important debut in the European market with this model.

2. Polestar 5

Polestar attracted attention at IAA Mobility with its stylish design and powerful performance. With 871 horsepower, the Polestar 5 will compete fiercely with rivals such as the Audi e-tron GT and Porsche Taycan. The car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds. The minimalist design and large screens in the interior make the Polestar 5 a model where technology and luxury combine.

3. BMW iX3 Neu Classe

BMW introduced its Neu Classe electric vehicles in Munich. iX3 offers a range of up to 800 km with a 108.7 kWh battery. It can also be charged fast enough to add 375 km of range in just 10 minutes. This model takes the first steps in BMW's future electric vehicle lineup and showcases the brand's new technologies.

4. Hyundai Concept Three

Hyundai continues to innovate in electric vehicles. The Concept Three will be the first compact electric model in the brand's Ioniq range. This model stands out with its adoption of Hyundai's "Art of Steel" design language. With its high-tech interior and futuristic exterior design, Hyundai is stepping into the future of automobiles with this concept.

5. Mercedes-Benz GLC

This all-electric model can charge quickly thanks to its 800V architecture. Offering a range of 795 km with a 94 kWh battery, the GLC EQ 400 stands out with its stylish interior design and high performance. Mercedes aims to offer drivers a luxurious experience with its modern digital displays and large infotainment systems.

6. Cupra Tindaya

Cupra aims to offer a car experience that puts you in the driver's seat with the Tindaya concept. Drawing attention with its futuristic design and high performance-oriented approach, Tindaya attracted attention especially with the lively and aggressive stance of the car. Tindaya may be the harbinger of a new era in the automobile world by protecting the pleasure of manual driving against autonomous driving systems.

7. VW ID.Cross

Volkswagen showed how it will shape the electric SUV market with the ID.Cross concept. The ID.Cross, which attracts attention with its compact and stylish design, gives important clues about VW's electric vehicle future. Volkswagen aims to reach a wide customer base with the production version of this concept at an affordable price of 25,000 euros.
